Laura Jacob

Laura Jacob is the President of Pro Way Development based in Toronto, Ontario. Pro Way Development helps organizations with business coaching and employee training and development. Laura has worked with companies of all sizes from Fortune 500 organizations such as GE, Perot Systems and UBS in the U.S. and Canada as well local small businesses. 

She also served as adjunct faculty teaching undergraduates at the University of Bridgeport in Stamford, CT graduate students at Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY. She is a frequent facilitator with the American Management Association where she teaches nine programs on topics ranging from communication, emotional intelligence, to time management, managing change, and management fundamentals. 

Laura’s teaching and facilitation style is highly interactive and ensures engagement of participants and the transmission of learning. Participants describe her as “keeps things fun, interesting, stays on task and is very learned and knowledgeable about the subject matter,” and “able to engage even those hesitant to participate.” 

Laura holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Toronto and a Master’s degree in Industrial Relations from Queen’s University. She has her 6 Sigma Greenbelt certification and her certification as professional coach, through the Centre for Brief Coaching. She is a volunteer with Ryerson’s top 200 Mentorship Program.
