Michele is a Business Advisor, Career Transition Specialist and Trainer whose optimism is infectious. After 30 years in Human Resources, she bravely reinvented herself, starting her own consulting practice and co-founding ElevatingHR, a unique training program for HR practitioners. Michele supports aspiring professionals and those in career transition, to increase their confidence and be noticed in a competitive environment. She has developed a reputation for helping business leaders and clients to realize their full potential. Having gone through a dramatic career shift from corporate to solopreneur, she has first-hand knowledge of how critical it is to acknowledge our transferable skills, expand our network and find the joy in the journey.

Michele holds a B.A. in Psychology and Business Diploma from Wilfrid Laurier University, an Executive Management Certificate from McMaster’s DeGroote School of Business, and a CHRM designation from the Human Resources Professionals Association. She is a Certified Coach Practitioner, with certifications in Facilitation and Adult Learning. Michele has worked in private and public sectors, with entrepreneurs, large global corporations, across various industries from insurance to biotechnology, spending 10 years in Senior Management roles in mining and heavy equipment.
